Perry Hotel Policies

The Perry Hotel in Petoskey’s historic Gaslight District provides visitors a refreshing alternative to the now common sprawling resorts common to northern Michigan. We encourage guests to review our hotel policies and cancellation information listed below. Should you require additional assistance of any kind, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

Reservation Deposit
To secure a room reservation with Stafford’s Perry Hotel, a valid credit card number will be required and kept on file. In lieu of a credit card number, guests may send a deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay. Deposits must be received within 10 days of the reservation request for complete processing.

Cancellation Policy
We request that guests contact us at least 48 hours prior to their arrival date should they wish to cancel. Otherwise, guests will be charged for the first night of their stay.

Guest Check-in and Departure
Guest check-in – 3 pm. Check-out – 11 am.

Smoking Policy
The Perry Hotel is proud of the fact that each of our guest rooms are smoke-free. We kindly ask that you help keep our smoke-free rooms just that. Guests found to be smoking in guest rooms will be charged $150 per day for deep-cleaning. We further thank you in advance for limiting your use of tobacco products to designated smoking areas within the hotel, and outside on our porches, patios, and balconies.

Children
We welcome children of all ages as our very special guests. There is no additional room charge for children under the age of 12.

Pets
We apologize that pets are not permitted at the Perry Hotel, with the exception of service animals for guests with special needs. We would be happy to assist you in locating local boarding. We recommend Bay Pines Veterinary Clinic at 231-347-1381 and Wags & Purrs at 231-439-9226 for boarding services.

Special Assistance
Stafford’s Perry Hotel aims to accommodate guests with disabilities. The Perry features three wheelchair accessible guest rooms with walk-in showers. All common areas of the hotel are also accessible by wheelchair. Should you require special assistance of any kind, please let us know in advance so that we can assure that your visit is hassle-free and memorable.
