By Land, Lake, or Air, We're Easy to Visit

Arriving at our doorstep is much easier than it used to be when guests traveled for several days by steamship or passenger train. While a 4-6 hour drive can appear daunting for some travelers, we encourage guests to take note of the beauty around us. Petoskey, Michigan happens to be located on the Lake Michigan Circle Tour. Getting here can really be half the fun.

From the North (Canada via I-75)

  • Proceed south on I-75
  • Follow I-75 to US 31 South
  • Merge onto US 31 South towards Petoskey
  • At stop light in Petoskey, turn left onto Lake Street
  • Proceed one block and turn left onto Petoskey Street
  • Petoskey Street turns into Bay Street after the downtown tunnel.
  • Stafford’s Perry Hotel is located at the corner of Bay & Lewis Streets

From the South (Grand Rapids & Chicago via US 131):

  • Proceed north on US 131 to Petoskey
  • In Petoskey US 131 will merge with US 31
  • At stop light in Petoskey, turn right onto Lake Street
  • Proceed one block and turn left onto Petoskey Street
  • Petoskey Street turns into Bay Street after the downtown tunnel.
  • Stafford’s Perry Hotel is located at the corner of Bay & Lewis Streets

From the East (Detroit via I-75):

  • Proceed north on I-75
  • Exit at #282 and turn left (west) onto M-32
  • Proceed west on M-32 to US 131 North
  • Turn right (north) onto US 131 towards Petoskey
  • Proceed north on US 131 to Petoskey
  • In Petoskey US 131 will merge with US 31
  • At stop light in Petoskey, turn right onto Lake Street
  • Proceed one block and turn left onto Petoskey Street
  • Petoskey Street turns into Bay Street after the downtown tunnel.
  • Stafford’s Perry Hotel is located at the corner of Bay & Lewis Streets

From the West (Wisconsin via Lake Michigan):

High-speed passenger ferries are now available from Milwaukee to Muskegon, Michigan. For additional information, please visit Lake Michigan Express.

Airlines & Airport Information

The Pellston Regional Airport is just 30 minutes away and offers daily flights to Detroit via Delta Airlines.
