Jody Ewbank, General Manager
Jody grew up in suburban Detroit, and was a graduate of Lutheran High School North and also graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Psychology and Interpersonal Communications.
Jody has managed at Stafford’s Pier Restaurant since early 1999, and is active on the Chamber Board of Directors, the Harbor Springs Business Committee and various other community committees.
Lindsey Bur, Assistant General Manager
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lindsey moved to Charlevoix in the summer of 1999. She graduated from Charlevoix High School in 2002 and attended North Central Michigan College for one year before going to Central Michigan University (CMU). She graduated from CMU with a BSBA in 2007 with a major in Hospitality Service Administration and minor in Marketing. While at CMU, she was President of the Hospitality and Tourism Society and Chairperson of the 2007 Hospitality Banquet.
She began working for Stafford's Weathervane Restaurant in May 2002. She has worked in several positions including: server, hostess, bartender, intern and dining room manager. She currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager at Stafford’s Pier Restaurant.
She has served on the Board of Directors for the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce since 2010, is a member of the Waterfront Wine Festival since 2010 and is a mentor for the STRIVE program in Harbor Springs. She enjoys reading, running, racing, cycling, cooking, wine, and traveling.
Britt Beaumont, Executive Chef
Britt Beaumont is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. He completed his internship under Chef Christian Antoine at Chateau du Clotay, Grigny, Paris, France. After culinary school, Britt worked for Mariott Corporation facilities in Cambridge and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; and in Hartford, Connecticut, managing culinary operations including fine dining, a la carte, and banquet production for a 400 room hotel.
Returning to his Michigan roots, Britt continued his career path as Executive Chef with The Fetzer Institute in Kalamazoo; managing all daily meals for both staff and Fetzer Corporate guests.
Britt moved to Arizona in 2004; and worked as Executive Chef for Henry’s Marketplace, managing daily demonstrations and promotion; and for Southwest Food Services, managing kitchen staff, including training and development.
In 2010, Britt once-again returned to Michigan. He held the position of Executive Chef at the Charlevoix Country Club for the 2010 summer season. Britt most recently worked as a Chef at Café Santé in Boyne City. He joined Stafford’s Pier Restaurant as executive chef in April 2012.
Carol Parker, Dining Room Manager
Carol was born and raised in Detroit, and moved to northern Michigan in the early 1970s. She owned a music store in Petoskey, before going into real estate and property management. She then managed a golf club restaurant for 14 years and joined Stafford’s in December 2006.
Carol served as President of the Gaslight Association of Petoskey and President of the Petoskey Business and Professional Women's Club.
A former international swimming champion, Carol still enjoys the sport, especially in Caribbean waters. Cruising, boating and travel are her primary hobbies.
Music is a lifelong passion, and Carol is now involved in the Northern Michigan Chorale. She is also a dedicated Detroit Red Wings hockey and Tiger baseball fan.
David Summers, Dining Room Manager
David grew up in Northville, Michigan - a suburb of Detroit. He graduated from Northville High School in 2009 and continued his education at Central Michigan University. At CMU he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Service Administration and a Minor in Leadership.
After completing an internship at Stafford's Pier Restaurant in the summer of 2012, David was invited back to join the team as Dining Room Manager! He joined our team in May of 2013.
In his spare time, he has a great love for the outdoors, spending much of his free time out hiking, fishing, and camping. When he is not outdoors, he finds himself an avid traveler, visiting as many different countries he can. He also grew up a devoted fan to Detroit sports.
Jamie Breakey, Dining Room Manager/Marketing Assistant
Jamie grew up in northern Michigan and graduated from Petoskey High School in 2001. After studying at Lake Superior State University (LSSU), she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Management in 2006.
She began working at Stafford’s Pier Restaurant in the summer of 2001. Through college, Jamie worked as a busser, server, hostess, and intern at Stafford's Pier Restaurant. After graduating from LSSU, she got married in the Pier’s Pointer Room! She took some time off to begin her family but returned to the Pier as Dining Room Manager in the summer of 2009. Most recently, she began working in the Marketing Department as Marketing Assistant.
Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband (Toby) and their three sons (Jackson, Branden and Tyler). They live in Petoskey and enjoy all things northern Michigan, especially spending time on our Great Lake!
