As Harbor Springs’ only waterfront restaurant, Stafford’s Pier was overdue for a major renovation in 2016. Our overall goal was to continue to bring our guests “closer to the water” and that’s exactly what we did. After months of renovations and construction, we are happy to welcome you to the new & improved Stafford’s Pier Restaurant.
“From the moment you walk through our front door, you will feel as though you are stepping aboard a yacht,” Brian Ewbank, our Vice President of Food & Beverage says. “Our nautical theme creates a casual vibe, comfortable for everyone.”
Guests now have the opportunity to dine indoors with a fresh breeze from the bay, with our new window walls that open completely. An exterior upper deck was also added, providing additional seating closer to the water, including a full bar and cocktail area.
Under the leadership of our new Executive Chef, Robert Sargent, and Stafford’s Hospitality Corporate Executive Chef, DJ Flynn, we now proudly serve fresh seafood cuisine including fresh daily oysters, a “market catch of the day,” ocean favorites, small plates and traditional Northern Michigan classics. View our dinner menu here.
Our renovation would not have been possible without the help of several Michigan businesses including: Wolgast Corporation Construction, KLK Design & Art, Presley Architecture, Grand Rapids Chair Company, Cupps Masonry, Inc., Harbor Fence Company, Polly’s Planting & Plucking, Foggy Mountain Woodworks, Canvas Company at Irish Boat Shop, Photography artwork by Rob Maxwell of SwampScotStudio, Superior Mechanical, Bear River Electric, Culinary Supply Saginaw, Rainbow Seamless Gutters, Partition Systems, Inc. and Amor Awning Company.
We invite you to come as you are and enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails and an extensive wine list, all paired with gracious hospitality, as we continue to celebrate the maritime heritage of Harbor Springs.
