Stafford’s Bay View Inn is rich in history and beautiful scenery. Surrounded by Little Traverse Bay and the classic Victorian style homes of the Bay View Association, there is so much to take in during your stay.
Start your day by taking our bikes for a spin along the Little Traverse Wheel Way! The Wheel Way stretches all the way from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs and hugs the shoreline of Little Traverse Bay. Our bikes are free to all of our house guests, just visit our front desk for access.
After a long day of exploring, you can kick back and relax in our library. House guests can enjoy our selection of games, books, magazines and 24-hour coffee and tea service.
Once you feel rejuvenated, visit one of the best places to hunt for Petoskey stones on the shores of Little Traverse Bay right behind the inn! Petoskey stones are easier to spot when they’re wet, so grab your spray bottles and start your search.
If you worked up an appetite looking for Petoskey stones, visit the Roselawn Dining Room! Guests can enjoy regional dishes and Inn classics for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The Inn also hosts our famous Sunday Brunch every week from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The Bay View Inn is settled within one of the most historical neighborhoods in northern Michigan: the Bay View Association. Finish off your afternoon by walking around and taking in the unique architecture. You can also stop and smell the flowers in the Bay View Memorial Garden.
End your day at the Bay View Inn by relaxing on our front porch and taking in a million dollar Northern Michigan Sunset!
