The Sounds of Summertime in Northern Michigan

Summer is here! And with it, comes a variety of music by local musicians. We look forward to this part of summer every year. Between Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, Boyne City and Alanson there’s an opportunity to hear live music every week. Check out some of the upcoming events in the area!
Charlevoix Summer Open House
Downtown Charlevoix is having its annual Summer Open House on Thursday, June 14 from 4-8 pm. There will be music played on every street corner by Charlie’s Root Fusion, Dwain Martin A. & Jessica Dominic, Emily Chapdelanie, Paul Gelderlando and Blair Miller. Candy Foster Unplugged, Up-Close and Personal
Candy Foster will be performing at Stafford’s Pier Restaurant on Friday, June 15 from 5:30-7:30 pm! Come enjoy some classic rhythm and blues along with a delicious meal at the Pier. Reservations are strongly encouraged, 231-526-6201. 

Concerts in the Park
Take your lunch breaks at the Pennsylvania Park Gazebo in Downtown Petoskey every Wednesday and Friday at noon. You can enjoy music of all sorts while relaxing outside in the sunshine! Performances begin June 20 and continue until August 17. Visit the Crooked Tree Art Center’s website for full lineup.

Live Music at the Noggin Room Pub
 The Noggin Room Pub at Stafford’s Perry Hotel will be hosting live music every Friday and Saturday in June and nightly in July! Performances will be from 8-11 pm, and the Noggin Room’s full menu will be available to guests. Visit our website to find out when your favorite musicians will be playing.

Harbor Springs Street Musique
Visit Downtown Harbor Spring every Thursday starting June 28, 7 to 9 pm to listen to tons of amazing artists as you walk down the streets of town!

Petoskey Steel Drum Band
One of Petoskey’s most sought after music groups will be performing at Stafford’s Perry Hotel on Wednesday, July 11 at 7 pm! Their performance will take place on the Rose Garden Veranda, and a limited dinner menu will be available to all that attend. Stroll the Streets of Boyne City
Music and fun every Friday evening, June 8 – September 7, 6 to 9 pm. From folk and bluegrass to jazz and rock, a little bit of something for everyone. For more information about this event, visit BoyneCityMainStreet.com.

Red Sky Stage
Exciting performances including a variety of musical styles, jam sessions and much more! Find out more about Red Sky Stage in Downtown Petoskey.

Live on the Bidwell Plaza
Catch a musical event on Bidwell Plaza in Downtown Petoskey, offered select Tuesdays – free and open to the public! Complimentary summer fare and kids activities, too. Visit CrookedTree.org for exact dates and performers.
