The Boyne Thunder Poker Run is a unique boating event based in Boyne City. Stroll through downtown to enjoy music and entertainment and see the high performance boats. On Saturday, watch them as they speed through Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan.
Live Music on the Streets:
Live music is a favorite summer activity in Northern Michigan. Stroll through downtown Harbor Springs on Thursday nights for Street Music, downtown Charlevoix on Thursday nights for the summer concert series or Petoskey on Friday nights for Petoskey Rocks!
If you’re feeling adventurous, sky diving is the perfect adrenaline rush. With Sky Dive Harbor Springs, as you jump you will see a gorgeous view of the Mackinac Bridge, Beaver Island, Little Traverse Bay and more!
Take a hike on some of the best trails in Michigan! The Little Traverse Wheelway Trail is a scenic 26.2 mile trail for hiking or biking leading all the way from Petoskey to Charlevoix!
Boat, Jet Ski, kayak and canoe rentals are available for a day out on the Inland water ways. Spend the day on one of the four lakes or travel through the 45 mile long chain of lakes and rivers.

Visit Sturgeon Bay Beach
If you are looking to get out of town for a relaxing day, Sturgeon bay beach is the perfect getaway. The three mile stretch of sandy beach and dunes is a local favorite with its gorgeous views and clear waters.
The Venetian Festival in Charlevoix is a summertime favorite. Bring the entire family for a week full of exciting events July 16 – 23rd.
