Alanson, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs and Petoskey offer more than any person can experience in one trip, you’ll just have to come back to try it all!
Fall Color Drive
Winding roads filled with golds, reds and bright oranges, create the best scenery in Michigan. One of our favorites: M-119 Tunnel Of Trees. For more color tour drives, check out the Petoskey Area’s 5 Awesome Color Tour Routes.
Visit An Apple Orchard
Cider, freshly picked apples, pumpkins, corn mazes and donuts – oh my! Does it get any better? We love Uncle Frank’s Apple Town and Pond Hill Farm.
Go For A Fall Hike or Bike Ride
The Little Traverse Conservancy offers more than 172 nature preserves across northern Michigan or hop on the Little Traverse Wheelway and the Northwestern State Trail, go from Charlevoix all the way to Harbor Springs or Mackinaw. (A portion of the trail is closed just west of Petoskey due to erosion. Please plan accordingly).
Visit A Winery
The Petoskey Wine Region lives up to its name. With over 12 wineries within this region, there’s a varietal for all palettes. View all wineries.
